Set over 4 floors this stylish property has a generous amount of living space (over 3000 sq ft) and a kitchen to impress a professional chef. Castlegate itself runs from Cliffords Tower directly into the city centre and houses some great places to eat if you don’t want to cook in our wonderful kitchen.
On the ground floor as you enter you have a choice of 2 sitting rooms, the front room has a full size antique desk, so perfect if you need to work whilst you are on holiday, along with a wood burning stove. The rear sitting room looks over the beautiful enclosed rear garden. The beautiful central staircase is quite a feature in it’s own right, and leads up to the larger first floor sitting room spanning the full width of the house with a large flat screen TV with surround sound and ample seating for everyone to enjoy time together. At the rear of the first floor is the master suite with an emperor sized bed (a super super-king) and large en-suite shower room.
Moving up to the top floor of the house you will find a further 3 generous sized bedrooms and the family bathroom.
Downstairs on the lower Ground Floor is the well appointed kitchen, and a generous sized dining room – a fantastic space to entertain.
The whole house is beautifully decorated throughout and a brilliant flexible space for a group of friends or family to base themselves whilst visiting York.
